Why does BP Scan need camera access?
Because the app analyzes subtle facial color changes to estimate wellness signals.
Are photos or videos uploaded?
BP Scan is designed to process camera frames on the device and not upload or store scan video.
Why did my scan fail?
Common causes include:
- Low light
- Strong movement
- Your face being outside the frame
- The camera being temporarily unavailable
Try again with your face still, visible and evenly lit.
Can BP Scan replace a blood pressure monitor?
No. BP Scan provides experimental wellness estimates and is not a replacement for validated medical equipment.
How do I remove saved measurements?
Delete measurements from History in the app. App data can also be removed by deleting the app.
Does BP Scan require an account?
No. BP Scan does not currently require an account.
