BP Scan is designed with privacy in mind.
Camera
BP Scan requires access to the device camera to analyze facial video frames.
Camera frames are processed for physiological signal estimation.
BP Scan does not intentionally upload camera frames to our servers.
BP Scan does not intentionally store camera video or photographs as part of the scanning process.
Local results
Scan results such as the following may be stored locally on your device when you choose to save a result:
- Systolic estimate
- Diastolic estimate
- Heart rate
- SpO₂ estimate
- Respiration rate
- Date and time
No account
BP Scan does not currently require user registration or an account.
No advertising tracking
The current version does not use third-party advertising tracking.
No sale of data
We do not sell personal information.
Third-party services
The current core scanning functionality is designed to operate on-device.
If third-party analytics, crash reporting, subscriptions or other services are introduced later, this policy will be updated before those services are used.
Data deletion
Because saved scan history is stored locally, you can remove saved results within the application or remove application data by deleting the app.
Children
BP Scan is not specifically directed at children.
Medical information
BP Scan provides experimental wellness estimates and is not a medical device.
Results should not be used for diagnosis, treatment or medication decisions.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as BP Scan evolves.
